Vo Dojo 10 Year Celebration

Inspired by the discipline of martial arts and the fun and playfulness of improv, at the V.O. Dojo we encourage voiceover artists to approach their craft fearlessly and with the wisdom of a warrior.reathe

Unlike many other training programs, the Dojo takes a wonderfully unique and holistic approach to the business of voiceover. We concentrate not only on formal skills and techniques but also on the mind/body/spirit connection necessary to communicate your truth and connect with your audience.

The V.O. Dojo is celebrating its 10th year of aligning people around the world with the power and possibility of their voice through the vehicle of voiceover.is ar

What Others Are Saying About The V.O. Dojo

Anthony Topsfield

"Training at the Dojo was easily the most extensive and self-developing work I've done for voiceover. You can learn good techniques at just about any Voiceover studio across LA.

The Dojo makes it darn near an obligation to make sure you also come out the other end understanding how you can market yourself, how you can use your voice, and what it's worth, how many different ways there are to work in voiceover and having a nice healthy network between working professionals already in the field as well as your fellow students."

- Anthony Topsfield

Catherine Baroco

"The VO Dojo prepared me beautifully, both for my work in audiobooks and also for this more "traditional" directed project.

My VO Dojo colleagues, and most especially Tish Hicks, gave me both the skills and confidence I needed to launch my voice into the world!"

- Catherine Baroco

Bill LaValley

"I've taken two other courses in voiceover and neither of them left me with the feeling that I had all the tools I needed to succeed.

I know it's possible to learn a lot on your own, but I'm getting insights and exposure to the real day-to-day work of a VO artist that would have otherwise taken me years to learn or figure out.

It greatly helps the confidence of the VO student to be in an environment where they can accelerate to a high level of performance."
