About Our Guest
Sébastien Croteau
Sébastien Croteau is a world-renowned extreme vocals specialist, metal vocalist, and throat singer (Tibetan, Mongolian, and Inuit styles) who has mastered an impressive range of vocal techniques and effects. He began teaching metal voices and throat-singing 15 years ago and has since trained hundreds of metal vocalists and voice talents worldwide. Sébastien is a recognized expert in vocal distortion, extreme sounds, and creature voice design.
Thanks to these skills, he began working with video game companies in 2005, specializing in vocal stunt work and sound creation for monsters and creatures. He has contributed to more than forty video games and films, including Star Wars Outlaws, Hellblade 2, Baldur’s Gate 3, Warhammer: Realm of Ruins, Gotham Knights, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Dead by Daylight, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and Assassin’s Creed 2, lending his voice to over 300 characters.
In addition to performing, Sébastien has worked as a casting director and voice director, and has shared his expertise through international conferences and workshops for The Halp Network, Wonderland VO, BRAVA UK, Real Voice LA, OMUK, and Skillshub. In 2018, he founded The Monster Factory, a talent agency specializing in extreme sounds, vocal stunts, and creature/monster voices, further cementing his role as a leader in the field.

Tish Hicks
Tish Hicks is an accomplished LA voiceover artist and the creator, CEO, and Master Sensei of The V.O. Dojo, a holistic, full-training program that guides, supports, connects, and accelerates voiceover artists every step of the way from "I don’t know" to working pro!
She has been telling stories in all genres of voiceover (commercials, animation, video games, tv narration, promo, audiobooks et al) for 25+ years including being the voice of many high profile and long-running campaigns like Subaru and Citibank.
Tish is a 2020 Stevie Award Winner for Female Entrepreneur of the Year and the Dojo for Company of the Year. She is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Theatre Department where bringing stories to life was instilled as a way of life.
